Basic but serviceable, would stay again Positive: This was the cheapest property available at the time of booking. We only needed a bed, a shower, a kettle and wifi and all were fine for us (although it took a minute to figure out the shower! Econ & 6 worked for us). The wifi was good enough for the smart tv to stream live tv with no issues. The host was polite, friendly and responsive, couldn't fault him. We stayed in December and found the place was nice and warm. Access was straightforward and explained prior to arrival. Location was good, just a few minutes from the principality and there's a mini mart a few doors down, as well as a really nice shwarma place just next door. Negative: The place is very run down and tired. Worn flooring, water damaged walls, broken windows, wobbly taps, you name it. This is reflected in the price but be prepared for this before you arrive and set expectations accordingly.

It’s in the name! Positive: Everything about the room is in the name. It’s cheep and functional. It is dated but we found it to be clean and organised throughout. It’s not the Ritz but we paid the same for 2 nights as we would have for a budget hotel for one night. The host is honest, helpful and responsive. Room is within easy walking distance to the centre with many convenience shops and takeaways right outside the front door. We found the room to be very quiet at all times. Negative: The shower on off dial seemed to have been put in back to front. We had to turn it to cold to get it hot but aside from that it was powerful enough and hot.
